This one is a really beautiful, all original, candy apply red Jaguar. I personally love those with the matching Headstock, especially with the C.A.R. finish. It really looks great and because its a auction it could be a great deal. For collectors and players.

'66 Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue -vg-

Parts missing: ?none?
Finish: original Lake Placid Blue
Condition: vg
Price: 12000$

This seems like a pretty good deal acually. If its true and its all original, its due to the custom color a good price, even though its a cbs guitar. If you like it, give it a try.

Vintage Guitar Seller of the Week (#1)

Oldenburger Music Station

It's an german seller with some very nice vintage guitars, amps & effects. Most of the guitars are priced ok, too. I already bought one of their guitars and i am absolutly satisfied.
Although the website is a little ugly, it's always nice to look at their offers.

+lot's of guitars, amps, effects
+good prices
+nice contact

'63 Fender Jaguar Olympic White -refin-

Model: 1963 Fender Jaguar
Serial: ???
Parts missing: Bridge Cover
Finish: Olympic White (probably refinished)
Condition: vg
Price: 2395$ (Auction start)
Value (according to VGM-Priceguide): 2500$

This is a very nice looking '63 Jag, even though the body is probably refinished. For someone, who looks for a nice Pre-CBS Player Jaguar this one could be interesting due to the prette low price. Again, if you look for some value that is going to increase, this is not what you want to buy, becaus of the refin.

'56 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst -Refin-

Model: 1956

Serial: 09755
Parts missing/changed: nut, volume-poti, etc. (check the Link)

Finish: Sunburst (refinished twice)

Condition: refin

Price: Auction start @12000$

Value (approximately): 13000$

"This is an authentic 1956 Fender Stratocaster that plays and sounds fantastic."

If the Auction stays at this low level, it could be a chance to get a cheap pre-60's Players strat. Collectors won't be interested due to the two refins and the changed parts.

'57 Fender Esquire Blonde -near mint-

Model: 1957 Fender Esquire
Serial: 21150
Parts missing: none
Finish: original Blonde
Condition: near mint
Price: 22500$
Value (according to VGM-Priceguide): 18000$-22000$

"1957 Vintage Fender Esquire Telecaster in near mint all original condition. Exceptionally clean and well cared for, the guitar is in pristine condition, with original tweed case and hang tag with matching serial number. Although the guitar has light player wear, it is otherwise pristine. The lacquer features only light checking, and very little discoloration.

The tweed case is the finest one I have ever seen. There is NO staining, it's a beautiful light Amber color, and features just a few light scuffs. This Kroylon side pocket, red plush, original case features the label inside, and also the outside metal Fender logo, which is extremely rare as these always get knocked off early in the game."
